Just a little kitchen makeover.  

The only picture I have of the "before" is from Christmas.

I liked the black.  

But now I don't.

So I painted. 

 Again.

 

I Loooooove white.  I always will.  

I think this picture shows exactly why.  

My colorful dishes and linens "pop" against that white.

After sanding, cleaning, painting, sanding and painting again.....

 Remember my $8 dresser? 

What a transformation!  She is now the crowning jewel of my new craft and sewing room. 

I think she's lovely!

She still needs a few "touch-ups" - but I think she looks so much better.

My Little Valentines

Happy Valentines Day my friends!

I am blessed beyond words by love of friends and family!

We are surrounded by beauty - if we open our eyes to it.  We are loved beyond comparison - if we open our hearts to it. 

Meet my new friend.  Isn't she lovely??  No?  Well she will be!!

She might look a little worn and old - but after a couple days of spa treatment - she will be so beautiful!  I picked up this dresser for $8 at a local GoodWill.  She will look and feel like a million bucks when I'm done with her.  Stay tuned......

My living room wall Before and After

The ugly and boring before.  The Big-Black-Monster isn't going away...I can't afford lovely built-ins... what to do???

Why, wall paper with old dictionary pages of course! 

Add some interest with an old rusty birdcage and

an old chippy scale and call it not bad!  At least I don't get quite so depressed when I look at that wall and wish for something I can't yet have. This makes me happy for now.   The frames I found at an estate sale and painted them this bright aqua. 

 

 

Paper Flowers - another thing I'm addicted to!

 These are just some flowers I had made for the Christmas sale at our Vintage Boutique sale last December.  I thought they could be used for decorating packages or whatever.  I made quite a few - and sold all of them!  Now...

I'm working on some map flowers!  I love the colors!
